I still pull this app up to grab the best shot. I wish it was updated to todays video quality and expectations. Inside the app, frames are now skipped or hanging on loading. Please come back and update. Such a great staple app for my many iPhones over the years. A must buy! Still works, just could be updated.

After giving access to the photo library, to get videos, it never returned for me to pick pictures

It is the best app for bringing out a single picture that you wanted out of the video. It also allows you to get some of the best shots that are out of the ordinary. Its a must have.

sometimes you dont know if u should take video or pictures. now i take videos bc i can always turn them into pictures!!

Works Fine, Lasts a Long Time

This used to be one of the apps I kept on my device. But with it not being updated in years I moved on to a newer app that does what this does BUT does so with more polish. I recently tried this app and it did what I needed it to do (iPhone 6). But the user interface could use a update for sure.

I was unable to get this app to work. It continuously froze and did not allow me to capture pictures. I would like to get my money back.

Simple and very easy to use!

My kids are always so active that getting the perfect shot seems next to impossible and my wife hates how many photos I take to get the right shot. Theres only so many times you can tell the family to smile and look at the camera before the smiles become forced and then the photo moment is gone forever. Still Shot removes the headache from capturing the perfect moment. I take one video and choose any number from the frame-by-frame later. My wife is happy that it no longer takes a long time to take a good photo and my kids are off to play again. Now, instead of capturing one perfect moment, I capture them all. - Ben

Just what I was looking for. Much better than trying to stop a video precisely and then take a low-res screenshot. Plus, its a clean, simple, well thought out interface that gets the job done without a bunch of screwing around. Exactly what an app should be!

Yes - StillShot does what I want - enables me to select, copy and save one or more image frames from video files on my iPad or iPhone. After that I can use the saved image(s) "as is" or in any image editing app on my iPad, iPhone, and/or Mac. I recommend StillShot.

We went on a deep sea fishing trip and I took video on an iPhone when catching the fish. When we got home I wanted to get pictures from the videos. This app was awesome! I was able to capture the fish in midair during a flip and was able to capture bringing the fish over the rail. These were amazing shots that I would not have without this app! The pictures look awesome printed since it uses the same resolution the video was shot in. I did have an issue with it loading a few of the videos (would crash and close the app) but I just resent the videos to my phone and resaved them and then it was able to process. Super happy!!! Will be using this again and recommending to friends.

If you have lots of kids you know its hard to take a picture of everyone smiling at the same time. I video and then grab stills and get great pics all the time! I love this app and use it almost everyday!
